Description
Bash Bish Falls III by John Frederick Kensett centers on a pale drop of water enclosed by trees. The cascade descends from a bright opening near the top of the image into a shallow pool, then continues toward the lower edge. Trees rise on both sides, but their branches do not close the view entirely. A strip of open sky remains above the falls, and the light there separates the pale water from the darker foliage. This hand-painted oil-on-canvas reproduction of Bash Bish Falls III by John Frederick Kensett is made for display.
