Rainbow

Description

A broad rainbow arcs over a simple green landscape beneath a muted sky. The curved band of color becomes the dominant feature, while low hills and open ground create a calm base. The minimal setting lets the shape and color of the rainbow carry the composition.

About Rainbow Reproduction

Cool blue and green tones contrast with the rainbows brighter spectrum. Soft transitions in the sky keep the scene atmospheric, and the wide open field gives the arc room to span the image.

The vivid rainbow over green fields adds a fresh note to a bright family room. Its horizontal format and hopeful color accent work well against a neutral wall and simple furnishings. A rainbow arcs across a dark band of cloud above a luminous green field. The landscape is arranged in broad horizontal layers, with a low horizon and a few distant trees. Bright light spreads below the cloud, making the colour of the field appear especially vivid. The simple shapes let the rainbow and contrasting sky dominate. The rainbows pale band crosses the cloud above vivid green. A narrow tree line sits low on the horizon and gives scale to the field. The field appears almost luminous beneath the dark cloud band. A soft arc of colour links sky and ground. The low trees balance the rainbow. The green field continues beneath the cloud bank.
