Description
Rachel Ruysch’s bouquet includes drooping blooms, bright roses and an opening in its centre where a flower has been removed. The arrangement offers a quieter view of abundance, allowing fading petals and dark spaces to contribute to its depth.
This is the signed 1700 Vase with Flowers in the Mauritshuis, inventory 151. It is a different composition from Ruysch’s Flowers in a Glass Vase, also known as Summer Flowers in a Vase. The reproduction follows the pictured Mauritshuis work and is painted to order in oil on canvas.
Each reproduction is painted to order by hand in oil on real canvas. Select an available size that keeps the pictured composition in proportion, then choose your preferred framing option. The original artwork’s medium and dimensions are historical references; the new reproduction is supplied in the size you order.
